This is a hard one.I DESPISED the way Elathon (the Elven Prince) treated Igraine for the first 1/3 of the book, and it was very difficult to get through. Actually, I almost didn't.Fortunately, I persevered, and in the end it turned out to be a decent book.I wouldn't say that this was a great book, pretty mediocre in terms of fantasy and/or erotica, but if you can push through the boorish assholeness of the hero in the first 30 percent, then you'll probably make it the rest of the way just fine.I was torn between liking it and it being 'ok' so we'll say 2.5 stars, but I'll post it at 3 since I would NEVER actually reread a book I gave 2 stars to, and 'might' reread a 3-star.

I have a book addiction that began with Nancy Drew in kindergarten. I've read pretty much all genres, to exclude non-fiction because I love to read for the escapism. I only review books that I feel strongly about, whether for good or bad. I think of truthful, honest, reviews as being there as a 'pay-it-forward' for others.
