Full review to follow later, but first thoughts...I liked the book. I struggle to give it a 5 star, simply because it can be an uncomfortable read, and quite honestly, I don't know if I'll ever be in the mindset to re-read in the future. But it is well-written, compelling, thought provoking, etc. I only give 5 stars to books that I will read over and over and over again because I just love getting immersed in them. This is not one of those books.

I have a book addiction that began with Nancy Drew in kindergarten. I've read pretty much all genres, to exclude non-fiction because I love to read for the escapism. I only review books that I feel strongly about, whether for good or bad. I think of truthful, honest, reviews as being there as a 'pay-it-forward' for others.
