Catching up on the series in order to buddy read Heart of Obsidian.Having stalled out on Blaze of Memory and gotten demoralized, I was convinced to read at least this and Tangle of Need before cheating by going for Heart of Obsidian first. I'm glad I did. I KNEW there was a reason I'd been reading the series, and one book should not have weakened my faith in Nalini Singh.Finally! Hawke and Sienna. Oh, and Lara and Walker (I almost liked them better). Ironically, though I've missed a few books in between, I don't feel that I missed much of the series plot and was able to easily reinsert myself into that world. The plot thickens...:)
