Lost one star for grammatical issues, though not as bad as some other books I've read.This is the 3rd book by Suzanne Wright that I've read, and I have to be honest, it's my least favorite. I like tough, smart heroines, but Sam was more belligerent, arrogant and bitchy than I could identify with. I did like the fact that the 1st person POVs bounced back and forth between Jared and Sam. Made their relationship just a titch more plausible.Overall, though, it was just okay for me.

I only review books that I feel strongly about, whether for good or bad. I think of truthful, honest, reviews as being there as a 'pay-it-forward' for others.
