Still a great book, though after reading so many books between my first time reading this and now, I realize that I'd forgotten how serious and realistic it was.There's definitely no exhilaration at the end, but more of a sense of relief, a big, 'whew,' that the difficult journey to finding love and keeping it is at a positive end.Anyone looking for a passionate romance is not going to find it in Megan Hart. She writes characters that are troubled, intelligent, and caught up in their heads. She writes more true to life, not bigger than life, and she does it well.As always, I'm in awe of how well-written these erotic books are.

I have a book addiction that began with Nancy Drew in kindergarten. I've read pretty much all genres, to exclude non-fiction because I love to read for the escapism. I only review books that I feel strongly about, whether for good or bad. I think of truthful, honest, reviews as being there as a 'pay-it-forward' for others.
