Lover At Last (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #11) - J.R. Ward So, really - 3.5 stars.I really did like the Qhuinn/Blay resolution, it worked for me. What's getting frustrating is the long, slow build, and go-nowhere secondary stories that slogging through (skimming, actually. Couldn't help it) barely keeps me awake. I'm sure that eventually we'll come to see some important relevance to Assail, Sola, Trez, iAm, etc., but in the meantime, it's just a jumble of starts with no resolution, and that's really annoying. As always, while I read the BDB books, I'm involved, absorbed, and pretty much enjoying, until I get to the end and then sit back and think to myself, "What just happened here?" And THAT cuts off a bit of the star ranking for me.
