It's an oddity that I really liked this book. A lot. The story was not frivolous, but about a past rape and the consequences to both victim and perpetrator. Honestly, I'm not sure how realistic the entire thing was, but it made me think. I know the ending was pure romancelandia, but it made me happy, and I didn't come out of the story rolling my eyes. And for someone who purports NOT to like Harlequins, I was really surprised that this one passed muster with me. ;)

I have a book addiction that began with Nancy Drew in kindergarten. I've read pretty much all genres, to exclude non-fiction because I love to read for the escapism. I only review books that I feel strongly about, whether for good or bad. I think of truthful, honest, reviews as being there as a 'pay-it-forward' for others.
